Motley Crue singer Vince Neil was playing the band hit song ‘Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)’ when suddenly he fell. Playing at the Monsters on the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the singer accidentally fell off the stage only to break his ribs.

A concert video soon emerged on the internet showing Neil giving a spin with his guitar by his side when he walked to the side of the stage and slipped out of everyone’s sight in no time. The band continued to sing the song and then carried on playing further. According to a fan named Darrell Jenkins, who shot the video, the band continued to play even after the incident and sang to a Led Zeppelin cover.

In another concert video, bass player Dana Strum was spotted explaining to the crowd that Neil was injured. Strum said that the truth is that Vince had fallen off the stage and broke his ribs. He cannot breathe and he’s going to receive immediate medical treatment.

Furthermore, Strum said that Neil wanted to just tough the whole thing out and to finish the show, but was instructed not to do so, as he couldn’t.

So far, Neil hasn’t posted any updates on his well-being on social media. The band Motley Crue then launched into ‘Live Wire’ and urged the crowd to sing along, such that Neil could hear them backstage.

However, Jenkins tweeted that Neil looked fine and good, and was singing great before the accidental fall. It was earlier this year when Neil had apologized to fans at one of his first-post-pandemic performances and had stated that his voice was gone.

However, it’s only a matter of time before Neil posts any update related to his condition. On the next, Neil and his bandmates in Motley Crue are all decked up to head to an American stadium tour sometime in Jun next year along with Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Def Leppard.
