Duran Duran is reuniting with the former guitarist Andy Taylor. They are once again coming together and reuniting to work on their upcoming album ‘The Mirror’.
The rock music band Duran Duran has recently announced that they are going to come up with a new album this year. They have also stated that they have collaborated with the former guitarist Andy Taylor. This news has created a buzz among all of their fans instantly.
On 20th March, Tuesday, this band announced the news on Instagram. They said that ‘Duran Duran are thrilled to confirm a special new music project is in the works, set for release later this year on BMG… The new recordings will feature extended Duran Duran family and friends, old and new, including our former bandmate Andy Taylor who will join us on guitar on a few tracks’.
This band separated ways in 1985. Andy Taylor and John Taylor come up with their own band named The Power House along with the late Robert Palmer and Tony Thompson. And the others formed another band named Arcadia. But even after that Taylor worked with them while making the album ‘Notorious’ in 1986. Later he reunited with them in the 2004 album ‘Astronaut’. He also went on dates with them to support them.

In life, Taylor has faced a lot of difficulties. He was even diagnosed with prostate cancer. Later he thought he will join the band officially but couldn’t do so for his physical illness. It has made a deep impact on his career. But finally, he is joining the group to create something mind-blowing. His contribution to the band is undeniable by everyone. His way of working is quite different from other artists and that is what made his creations different from everyone.
In recent times John Taylor has said a few things about Duran Duran’s upcoming album ‘The Mirror’. He has said ‘We’re working on an album right now that is going to be coming out at the end of the year and [Andy Taylor] is playing guitar’. He has also added ‘There’s a lot of cover songs on the album, songs meaningful to us when we were kids. So having him be a part of that project is great’. All this news has created a sensation among all of their fans and everyone is eagerly waiting for it to release.
