GloRilla releases a follow-up track of her single, ‘Tomorrow 2’ in collaboration with Cardi B that is a true treat to the hip-hop and rap music lovers
The new promising rapper GloRilla is at the peak of her career now. The Memphis rapper releases a brand new collaboration with ‘Bodak Yellow’ superstar Cardi B. this brand new single, ‘Tomorrow 2’ is a follow up of the rapper’s summer hit ‘Tomorrow’.
If you are familiar with TikTok hits, then you must have heard the viral track of the rapper, ‘F.N.F. (Let’s Go)’ with Hitkidd earlier this year. With this viral hit track, GloRilla has proved her worth and talent as a rapper and climbed to popularity as the song went over the Hot 100. As a hip-hop lover myself it is very hard to find fresh sound in the modern-day hip-hop industry and ‘F.N.F. (Let’s Go)’ was like a breath of fresh air which was then taken by Latto and City Girls’ JT who offered new verses to this viral hit earlier this September. The tracks’ success also gave GloRilla the opportunity to sign a record deal under the hometown rap king Yo Gotti’s CMG label. Under this label, the artist came out with her debut single ‘tomorrow’ which was followed by this collaboration with Cardi B on ‘Tomorrow 2’.
The pair, Cardi B and GloRilla make so much sense together. Both of their music is high-paced and composed of quirky rap that makes women feel powerful. They are also embracing the black culture and keeping the true essence of modern-day hip-hop. This collaboration also reflects both their energies and artistic choices that instantly lightened up my mood. The latest released video has already gained more than 80 thousand views which speaks volumes about the singer’s talent and the video’s fun and interesting direction. In this video directed by Diesel Filmz, the rapper is seen to be having a fun day with her friends, dancing on the Subway poles and hanging out in the sunroofs.
A fun and cool vibe are run throughout the entire video which will brighten up the audience’s moods with the ambiance it creates. Quirky lyrics like, “They say they don’t f*ck with me, but I say they can’t f*ck with me (On gang)” give the essence of self-empowerment and feeling powerful and confident. Cardi B joins with her spontaneous personality rapping at the same pace and with the same ability that attracts the audience.
