Miley Cyrus has just dropped the lead single from her eighth studio LP, ‘Endless Summer Vacation’. This latest release, ‘Flowers’ has been trending on every music-streaming platform. Not just an MP3 she has released a video of the song as well. The video was directed by Jacob Bixenman, with movement direction from Stephen Galloway, the song portrays what should be the routine to pamper yourself and how to love yourself in every possible. The album is accepted to release on the 10th of March 2023.
Along with a short trailer, the singer announced her upcoming album launch earlier this month. In 2020, her seventh studio album ‘Plastic Hearts’ was recorded in Los Angeles. Mike Will Made-It, Greg Kurstin, Tyler Johnson, and Kid Harpoon were part of the production of that album. Yet, this album is a Columbia Production.
In this video, Miley is seen walking in a gorgeous golden gown, conceivably a representation of a female figure being a deity in her daily life. This leads to an opening of routine that shows how a person can love themselves by taking care of their mind and body. And lines like “I can Love Me Better Than You Can” while she was swimming and working out in her sensational black lingerie and enjoying her own company.
The portrayal of an unapologetic woman enjoying her life, and being self-sufficient enough to take their own hand while dancing is extremely empowering to watch. 2023 is going to be a year of Miley Cyrus, and her first release of the year ‘Flowers’ is surely going to show how much attention she is going to receive in the coming months.
Already there has been a huge discussion on the fact that she is trying to imply something with this release as she decided to drop this number on the day of her x husband’s birthday. This probably means that this has been an ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ once she chooses to walk out of something that wasn’t right for her.
With or without any controversies this track is truly a great number. Powerful lyrics and an extremely picturesque video of this number are surely making a great impact on her listeners and fans.
