Tarah Who? offer their latest track and music video, ‘Toast to the Brave,’ courtesy of M & O Music.
‘Toast to the Brave’ is the follow-up release to Tarah Who? ’s well-received single, “Asian Blood.” Keeping their signature sound, ‘Toast to the Brave’ is simple yet allows the stories and messaging to shine. Listeners will be transported to a place of understanding as this track touches on a few impactful events in 2021. The first verse was influenced by the Indonesian submarine that sank in April 2021. Then, the second verse talks about Tarah’s friend’s story. The final verse gives a glimpse into Quintin Phillippe Jones’ execution. Known for their catchy riffs, well-thought-out lyrics, and melody, this latest project indeed sets the duo apart from the other emerging bands.
The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Javier Caudillo. Running almost four-minute-long, it perfectly conveys the aforementioned verses. They have worked with talented creatives like Alex Ochoa (photography director and editor), Jason Orme (co-producer), and Norm Block (mixer), to name a few. Poignant lyrics, strong instrumentation, superb rhythms, and professional production – ‘Toast to the Brave’ certainly didn’t disappoint.
