Jaden Smith makes the music video for the famous track “Photograph” while completely lazing around on the edge of the blue ocean. The blue color of the ocean refers to his blue mood as he croons softly about sentimental escape. He smoothly swims while watching the pink sunset in his half-closed eyes, dreaming about a perfect escape with somebody he admires. It looks like he wants to lie next to someone he is dedicating the song to, on the golden sand. He wants to slowly get lost in the choppy blue waves of the Bahamas.
Smith directs the music video while he sings, “Thought I might write a song, Hoped you might sing along.”
He mirrors the painful journey of his breakup in the visual artistry of the music video “Photograph”. The sadness in his eyes is reflected in the natural hue of the serene landscape.
He says, “It is a psychedelic movement of peace. It is the end of multiple eras for me as an artist, and I am so excited to share it with the world. Let rainbows and flowers be with you.”
Last fall, Jaden dropped ‘I’m Ready’ that was featured on the PlayStation video game Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Last year had been quite hectic for the young artist because he was under pressure for releasing a 17-track album ‘CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3’. He added his quarantine tracks “Cabin Fever,” “Falling for You” featuring Justin Bieber, and “Endless Summer” with Raury in the album released in August.
