In collaboration with the talented vocalist Fabian Scheuerlein, the producer duo of Balduin has brought back the nostalgic tones of the iconic tracks.
Gypsy Pop at its best; the iconic track of Vaya Con Dios, ‘Nah Neh Nah’ gets recreated by the producer duo of Balduin. Recreating the same charismatic spell while producing a cover of a track is certainly a bold task and the creators have to go beyond the artistic limits as there will always be a comparison. Well, needless to say, the electronic music producers Benedikt Kuhn and Martin Straka have done their job exceedingly well. Not only them, but the vocal performance of the renowned artist Fabian Scheuerlein is also perfect for the musical scenario. Well, when I went through the melodious tracks like ‘Life of Crime‘ and ‘Mister Mister‘, I can bet they are better than just being a usual track in Spotify.
The package is complete and the instrumentation took me back to 1990, the time of musical ecstasy. It was certainly hard for the creators to live up to the expectations and grand stature of the actual project, even I had some doubts, but Balduin proved everyone wrong with the release. The magic of the iconic chorus of ‘Nah Neh Nah’ can be felt in the recreated version as well, which is the true highlight of this new version, as the producers didn’t try to remix the things, but added a touch of modern music and instrumentals into the classic musical arrangement. Also, the song ‘Jingle Bells‘ and its backdrop are spreading a craze amongst the listeners yet music enthusiasts like me. The new version of these tracks certainly deserves 4.7 stars on the rating meter.
