Hip-hop music has been a personal favorite of mine so I am always in search of new, refreshing hip-hop music. This is exactly what the artist Drew The Dream has delivered in his newest music video. While searching for new tracks on YouTube, I came across his music video, ‘Laid Back’ which made me absolutely stunned. I realized that the artist is independent which made me more stunned as he has done all of the composition, writing, and rapping by himself. This clearly shows how talented he truly is and in the track, his caliber speaks for itself.
The music video for ‘Laid Back’ is quite satisfactory and the composition along with the fine-tuning has made it enchanting for me. Even though the video does not contain any actual visuals, just the artist Drew The Dream posing for a still picture, the melody and the fine rap flow do not bore you at all. The tonal structure of the artist is appropriate and goes well with the composition and the lyrics. The chilled-out vibe that the video presents stays with you for a long time. Relaxation and refreshment are the two major things that the vocal tone of the artist has presented.
