Ethan DeBoard and Evelyn May Nielsen met in their freshmen year at school, and since then they have bonded musically. They both have been in love with various aspects of making music. DeBoard has a passion for musical instruments and since he was a 15 years old young man he has been playing guitar. And Evelyn has also been writing lyrics since forever. And as they came together to create music, the outcome was seamlessly blended and consuming.
The alternative singer-songwriter duo Wasting May is from Orlando, Florida. They started to release their music on online platforms in May 2023. Their first release was a single from this EP ‘Maureen’. And it was in February 2023, when they started to work on this EP. The catalog of ‘Machine’ holds ‘Intro’, ‘Body Running’, ‘Maureen’, ‘Far Away’, and the title track ‘Machine’. Each song from this EP demonstrates a different sense of loss. The writing part for this EP started on a park bench, and after 6 months of hard work and dedication, they successfully recorded this EP.
