Born in San Clemente, an indie-alt rock band who has taken the industry by storm with their special heartfelt sound design is Home is West. The three-piece band comes handed with a big sound that they have stylistically crafted amidst the lockdown period, giving the audience plenty of hooks to believe in their superior craftsmanship and authenticity as a powerful alt-rock band. On their latest four tracks EP ‘Here and Now’, the talented musicians have showcased tremendous versatility in terms of melodies and have finely wrapped them up with their incredible songwriting style to set the mood right.
‘Here and Now’ has four tracks, all of which are finely crafted to offer a beautiful sonic journey flowing through beautiful harmonies and heartfelt words. All the tracks encapsulate emotive feelings combined with an essential dash of eclectic sounds that all tunnels to a great experience. The song ‘Mexico’ includes a little Americana and old surf rock sound and is about the journey to find inner peace. ‘Sooner or Later’ talks about being a good person and sends out the message of believing in karma. ‘The Window’ beautifully speaks about the pain caused by losing a loved one and essentially moving forward but not forgetting, and the track ‘Eight Seconds’ summarizes a brief conversation of few strangers passing by.
