Taking a trip to the future, the year 2220 at least on his latest music video, Lil Nas X has come up with something unconventional as always and has ringed off the festive season earlier this year. In the futuristic musical clip of ‘HOLIDAY’, the rapper portrays four characters, a mohawked Hot Wheels driver, a grey-haired Santa, a workshop elf sporting straight backs, and a militarized nutcracker. The video is based on a Christmas theme and the rapper is seen being his usual best as he emits immense confidence through his artwork. From the costume to the visual arrangement to the lyrics and the artist’s zeal, everything pumps up the energy and the mood in a bit. The viral rapper looks quite spooky in his Santa Claus attire where he is seen having a pair of glowing, silvery eyeballs. Riding robotic reindeers, the rapper flies past his self versions of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Hollywood Sign, Mount Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, and Times Square.
The whole imaginary and sci-fi inspired concept of ‘HOLIDAY’ makes for a thrilling watch and it is also Lil Nas X’s first release since his 2019 7 EP. Apart from his fantastic musical skills, the robotic theme is a visual treat that fans would surely love to indulge in.
