The singer-songwriter Loren Gray has released her debut music video ‘Alone’, inspired by the quarantine situation.
The track as well as the music video guides the fans through the dream staycation of Loren. Things get started in the backdrop of a barren room – Gray is seen wearing a diamond outfit designed by Michael Costello. The character of Gray’s fictional ex is played by TikTok star Tayler Holder whose photos can be seen on the room’s walls.
Loren said, ‘’Alone‘ is my first love song, which is really exciting because I’ve gotten to share a more vulnerable side of myself with my fans. This was the first time in my life that I actually felt inspired to write a love song, so that was pretty cool! I also cut it myself in my home studio which was a really fun experience.’
The audio version of the track was released in July along with a lyric video that had drawn the attention of many across the globe. Be it the sonic or the visual version – the project is soothing to both the senses.
The concept is portrayed wonderfully well through the video – offering something more to get enchanted. The moments are precious and entertaining for the millennial. The vocals are always in line with the rhythms, providing more than enough reasons to revisit it.
At the very beginning of the quarantine period, Gray had set up a recording studio through which she has produced a series of single, and ‘Alone’ is also one of those.
At the age of fifteen, the Philadelphia native had moved to Los Angeles, to make a career in the music industry. She is heavily inspired by her love for heavy metal, classic rock, country, and hip hop. Since then, she has climbed up the ladder of success.
