The newest forms and styles of hip hop have always fascinated me. When it comes to mumble rapping Young Pharaoh is my favorite among the new independent artists in the scene. I was very excited for the release of his latest album, ‘Dealers/Abuser’ and it did live up to the hype. All the 8 tracks in the album were absolutely wonderful in my opinion. The opening song, ‘Hells Kitchen (Xaynor)’ features authentic hip-hop beats mixed with the best elements of trap and rock. His rhyming style is so much different than the usual mumble rappers. It exudes a clear sense of comfort and confidence. And I loved how it encourages the audience to live their lives with their heads held high.

He has established a name for himself in the New York independent hip hop scene with his universal approach to music-making and the genre.
