‘1 NITE’ – the third track from the album ‘The Resurrection’ has a fascinating ambiance surrounding it. This very fact is present within the musicality of the track – the fascinating backdrop, the heavy bass, the varying melodies, the extreme level of passion and intensity put into the lyricism and the performance of the South Carolina hip hop artist Shawn Michael. Being a music enthusiast I have found that this track is a collection of some of the most exquisite ingredients of the hip hop industry. Ranging from bright and catchy, to the majestic and bold, and all this while, portraying warmth and depth that is as striking as it can get – this is the kind of impact this track cast on my mind.
The track has highlighted the richest elements of the genre – smooth yet powerful, a dreamlike ambiance, an easy-going flow and an addictive hook; ‘1 NITE’ is the summit of creative brilliance. The track picks up pace after the first verse and then goes on with the magnificence flow. Well, no doubt this one of my favorite soundcloud artists Shawn Michael has poured creativity over the structural development of this track that just cannot be taken lightly. The hook section kept me captivated throughout the track’s run and this very reason made me fall in love with the creative brilliance. Shawn Michael’s impeccable artistry deserves 4.7 stars on the rating scale.
