Evolving talent DRPPY takes a unique path to showcase his creativity and chooses an intriguing concept to curate his new video ‘WHY’, a must-watch hip-hop concept
Hasn’t versatility become crucial for achieving success in the music industry? Well, I believe it is necessary and some artists are genuinely setting the bar higher. On the latest is rapper DRPPY who has latched into my heart forever with his stylish approach towards the genre. With some outstanding melodies and his amazing emo-rap style, he has dropped his new video ‘WHY’. Even though the storyline is strong and intriguing, his melodic way of rap is what got me hooked immediately. It’s a unique story of him being lost inside a forest as he gets attacked by green-painted creatures, which probably are zombies. His performance is on-point and the rapper maintains his realness while playing with the lyrics.
DRPPY has already rooted his musical identity in the scene and considering his catchy storyline and emotive quotient, only great things could be expected from him in the coming days. From the groove to his seamless and natural rap flow, everything convinces me that he is the hip-hop face of the future. The video has been well crafted and his execution is terrific. Making everything seem so real and convincing in ‘WHY’, the rapper has made it inevitable to overlook his proficiency. My personal favorite is the artist’s authentic undertone and the gentle soul of the music that impressively varies from a regular hip-hop sound.
