The pop artist Nika Nikoubin will release her fresh and new single ‘Free’ which I had an opportunity to listen to and I was completely blown away. As a pop music lover myself I was a bit reserved and skeptical about the artist’s music as she is a very new in the industry and I was not sure if the experience I was going to get was worth it. But I was proven wrong just 30 seconds into the song. It left me in an energetic mood as the song is extremely fun to listen to. With this song, I have high expectations for the artist and am extremely excited for her upcoming releases. After listening to it, I must say even though this is a cover from the original track released in 2011, she has done an extremely praiseworthy job at maintaining the true essence of the original track and adding new unique features as well. The original song is about materialism and obsession with shopping. Nika herself is said to be a shopaholic and thinks it will be fun to present her the way she is to her fans.
I was spellbound by the catchy tune that the song ‘Free’ carried. The song contains electrifying beats with digital tunes which creates an amazing fun experience for the ears of the listeners. With my research, I have found out that the artist draws her inspiration from two of the most popular and iconic artists of this time, Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish which has an impact on the artist’s work. The lyrics of the song surprised me a lot too as this song was not only fun to listen to, but the lyrics perfectly matched the vibe. It was quirky and catchy and has got me singing randomly at times. But the most unique and surprising component of this song is Nika’s singing talent. Nika Nikoubin has given an outstanding vocal performance in the song carried by her natural ethereal vocal tone and the perfect quirkiness that is needed in a pop song.
She has another new song lined up for upcoming releases; ‘She Wolf‘. You can experience the same ambiance of fun as I did by listening to her song which will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, Itunes, IheartRadio, Pandora, and Youtube on 5th September.
