It became more evident at the LA concert, which was star-studded with the presence of Rihanna, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and other artists.

Brandy and Monica, two Grammy-winning powerhouse singers, are currently proceeding with their ‘The Boy Is Mine’ tour, and the star-studded performance took place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, November 9. Surprisingly, Kelly Rowland from Destiny’s Child also performed in a supporting act with other singers, namely Jamal Roberts and Muni Long.

“The Boy Is Mine” is perhaps the most successful track by this duo that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed for over 13 weeks. The success of this single helped the singers earn their Grammy for best R&B performance by a duo or group. The song again received its cultural legacy of pop when the singers decided to revisit it through a remix with Ariana Grande for the song with the same name, offering a reimagined version of the R&B hit classic. The song again received a nomination at the 67th annual Grammy Awards for best pop duo/group performance.

The star attendance not only surprised the fans but the performers as well, since the whole of Hollywood came to embrace the duo. The A-list friends who attended the LA concert received gratitude from the singers as well. They were very happy to have Rihanna as Brandy offered a heartfelt shoutout through Instagram with the caption, “Oh RiRi, what a surprise!” and it further reads, “I love you and thank you for sharing your love and light with us last night. ✨” Similarly, Monica also paid her tribute to the artists through her own post, where everyone was mentioned, including Queen Latifah, Jenifer Lewis, LL Cool J, Lena Waithe, Riri, and others.
