Versatile music artist IurisEkero is creating a powerful sonic identity with his sheer individualism, creativity, and a mind that always seeks something new. He has recently dropped an album project called ‘AURA’ that celebrated human connection and spirituality through music. After making a grand launch in Andes, the album is buzzing among global music lovers. We thank the artist for sharing a few words with us on his grand musical journey.

DMR: Congratulations on the release of ‘AURA’. Please walk us through this amazing project.
IurisEkero: Thank you very much, I am very proud of this album. When I started writing the songs, both in their music and lyrics, I knew from the beginning that they had to be about that connection that exists between human beings, which is sometimes very difficult to explain. I believe that most of the songs on this album have that connection of reaching and touching you deeply from a very positive perspective. As for the music, I like to explore various styles, and the truth is that the result was amazing as the music adapted to the lyrics. More than six singers from different parts of the world participated, along with over twenty musicians who, with their talent, took AURA to new heights. It has more than 500,000 streams one week after its release – Incredible!
DMR: You also have another album called ‘PROYECTO ONE’. How is ‘AURA’ different?
IurisEkero: Yes, it’s called PROYECTO ONE. It was released last year, and as it was the first album, it had a lot of
experimental elements. There are some very good songs. In that sense, AURA is a remarkable evolution, both in music, lyrics, musicians, guest singers, and overall production. It’s an album that from the very beginning I knew what themes it would tackle and who it was aimed at; I see it as more innovative and cohesive, probably because I also grew as a composer.
DMR: When did you start on this prolific musical journey?
IurisEkero: Music has always been present in my home since I was very young, with my dad being a trumpeter and my grandfather a singer. I grew up listening to so many incredible musicians and songs that accompanied me, and one day I decided I had to try to bring to life those songs of mine that I secretly kept. With the rise of artificial intelligence, I found the missing complement, and everything started to take shape. I made several demos in that way, which were later interpreted by real musicians and singers. If I had to tell you when I started in music, I would honestly say since I can remember.
DMR: Whom would you like to call for creative inspiration?
IurisEkero: I believe that creativity comes from within, sometimes it’s there and other times you have to wait for it to appear. But surely many musicians from different parts of the world contribute their creativity to my music, and if you listen to AURA, you can clearly hear the talent of many musicians and singers from various places around the world. I am fascinated by the connection that my songs create with them and the contribution each one makes.
DMR: Other than contemporary-pop, what genres do you like to dabble with?
IurisEkero: “I really enjoy experimenting with many styles: bachata, deep house, chill out, electronic, R&B. If it
reaches the listener’s heart, that’s the right style.”
DMR: What are your thoughts on the modern music industry?
IurisEkero: “I really don’t have much knowledge about how the music industry works, but I would definitely ask for more space and participation for so many independent and super talented musicians. Sometimes I hear songs from artists and think the world needs to hear this masterpiece, which usually doesn’t reach the mainstream audience due to lack of support.”
DMR: You have made a grand launch of ‘AURA’ at Andes! How was your experience?
IurisEkero: “It was truly amazing. The AURA presentation was a unique and immersive experience for everyone who participated. The music, the mountains, the energy of the people, the food, the wine, the technology… it was truly unforgettable. Everyone who attended was fascinated by the presentation. For a moment, we were all connected by a special energy that could be felt. I saw my tears and those of many attendees who enjoyed this wonderful moment in a unique place like Finca Decero. It’s hard to put into words; I am proud of everything that was experienced and of the many people who participated in its production, more than 30 people including technicians and assistants. It was a challenge for future events.”
DMR: Please shed some light on your upcoming music projects.
IurisEkero: “We have upcoming projects with my team. In just a few days, we will launch a session of 4 songs from AURA recorded in the Andes Mountains with Argentine singers who have unique talent. We will also release the video of the AURA presentation at Finca Decero, which lasts an hour and includes all the songs from the setlist. There are songs in Spanish as well, and we have videos to be made, so in 2026, we will have a lot of material to release and updates.”
DMR: Would you like to collaborate with other artists on this solo journey?
IurisEkero: Absolutely, I would love to work together with other artists. There are so many talented people in music, and it would be enriching to have their contribution or mine in a shared project. The truth is it would be a dream come true if the opportunity arises.
DMR: As an established music artist, what tips would you give to rising artists?
IurisEkero: To artists who are just starting out, the advice I would give is to trust in themselves, in their intuition, and to never give up. I know that many times it depends on the support they receive, but it’s important to always have patience; when there is talent, the support will come.
DMR: Is there any upcoming event by you that audiences should know about?
IurisEkero: A few days ago was the presentation of AURA, so we continue to enjoy that magic that was there, and we are planning some other presentations for 2026, but nothing concrete yet. We are looking at doing them in Miami, but it’s still uncertain; my team is working on that issue.
DMR: What would you like to say to your fans?
IurisEkero: I want to say that I am very grateful that you like my songs so much and that they are a part of your
life. Thank you for all the support, and we will see each other soon with more music.
