BTS is back in the United States, and the moment lands with heavy weight!! On Saturday, April 25, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook took over Raymond James Stadium, performing in front of 60,000 fans who showed up ready. The night was loud, emotional, and long overdue. It marked their return to a U.S stadium stage as a full group after a long time. The Tampa show is one stop in their sprawling ARIRANG world tour, which first kicked off on April 9th at Goyang Stadium. Since then, the tour has been moving at scale, covering 85 dates across 34 cities. It carries the momentum of the group’s comeback that the fans have been waiting for, especially with this being their first major group activity following enlistment in the South Korean army.

At the center of it all is ARIRANG, BTS’ tenth studio album. The record opened strong, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while its lead hit ‘SWIM’ reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Before the tour began, the group returned to Seoul for a comeback show that set the tone, balancing scale with emotion in a way that only they seem to manage. For U.S. fans, this return carries its own story. The last time BTS performed in the country as a full group was in April 2022 at Allegiant Stadium. Since then, each member has stayed active through solo work and individual tours. Jin, in particular, made a stop in Tampa last year with his #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, and that memory clearly stuck with him. “I felt it back then, too, but Tampa is truly No. 1,” the eldest member said on Saturday night. “I remembered that experience and strongly recommended to the members that we should come back.”

The group is set to stay in Tampa for two more nights before heading out again, with upcoming stops in El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford, and beyond. The schedule stretches across the year, and the scale reflects just how big this return is. For fans waiting in other cities, the first U.S. stop offers a clear preview of what’s to come. The setlist brings together the group’s major hits and deeper cuts, with two surprise songs added that had not appeared at earlier tour stops. It is definitely carefully built for the die-hard AMRY, yet it is still full of moments that catch you off guard. However, this is exactly the kind of balance BTS has always known to deliver!
