Lizzo Announced Her New Album Release ‘Bitch’

Lizzo is making a comeback after a long time with a whole album, named ‘Bitch’. The artist made her birthday even more special by making this announcement.

Lizzo, the singer and rapper, is about to make a sensation online after dropping a new announcement. On 27^th April, the day she turned 38, the artist disclosed that she is going to release her next music album, named ‘Bitch’.  It has been nine years since she released new music, and her last was ‘Truth Hurts’. As the artist had made the announcement, everyone was completely surprised. The album is going to be released on 5^th June. While making the announcement, Lizzo shared a cheeky artwork of the album and stated ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!Wanna get me a gift? Pre-order my album baby!!!!’. As she made the post on Instagram, all her fans were shocked. She is coming after a long time, and everyone has many expectations of her.

In the artwork of the album, it is seen that Lizzo’s right hand is flipping the bird. However, the miniature version of her is standing where the middle finger should be. From seeing this, it can be said that she is getting ready to showcase her creative caliber after all these years. As of now, it is known that the title track of the album, ‘Bitch’, will be released on 1^st May, and people will get a taste of the upcoming album with it. The project is already creating a sensation among all.

This new release, ‘Bitch’, is going to be her first album since 2022’s Special. In addition to that, this is the first collection of soundtracks since her 2025 mixtape, named ‘My Face Hurts From Smiling’. While talking about this new project, the artist stated, ‘Reclaiming the word ‘b—h’ is power’. She even added, ‘It’s taking a label once used to diminish women and turning it into a declaration of confidence and unapologetic self-love’. Lizzo continued by saying ‘So many incredible women in music have used the word for positivity like Meredith Brooks and Missy Elliott’.

She also stated, ‘It was only fitting to name my album Bitch because it has become my favorite word when using it on my own terms, and because I am 100% that b—h!’. After the Special, the artist was about to deliver an album named ‘Love in Real Life’. But after releasing the singles from the album, ‘Love in Real Life’ and ‘Still Bad’, she shelved the whole project. Regarding this, Lizzo said ‘It just wasn’t what I was feeling right now. I was like, ‘I need to do s–t differently, and I don’t know what it is, but I’m going to just start following my instincts’.

However, this time, everyone is expecting that nothing like this will happen. She has already released the lead single, ‘Don’t Make Me Love U’. In addition to that, on her Spotify preview page, all 12 tracks of the album are showing, which is a sign that the album will definitely be released. So, it is only a wait for a little bit more before the new release.
