Shakira, Madonna, and BTS are coming together for the performance at the halftime of the FIFA World Cup final. On 14th May, Global Citizen announced the performance of these brilliant artists, which has generated a huge buzz among all. The performance will take place on 19th July at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It is the very first time when halftime show has been featured in the World Cup. That is why everyone is very excited for the event.

As of now, it is known that the clock is set to 11 minutes. The announcement of the halftime has been made through a social media video-sharing post. In the video, Coldplay’s Chris Martin was seen along with Sesame Street’s Elmo and the Cookie Monster, along with Miss Piggie, Kermit, and many others from The Muppets. In addition to that, the crew even calls up BTS on FaceTime in the video.

While making the announcement, a statement has been shared by Coldplay that says ‘Madonna, Shakira and BTS will co-headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup™ Final Halftime Show at the New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19.  Curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and produced by Global Citizen, the show will raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, improving access to quality education and football for children around the world.’

The name of Shakira was associated with this year’s World Cup from the announcement of ‘Dai Dai’. It is the official FIFA World Cup song that has been made by Shakira along with Burna Boy. This is the second time Shakira has done the official song for the most popular football tournament. This, it is quite an exciting matter for the artist as well.
