American rock band Foo Fighters is finally coming to India, and this first performance in the country will offer the complete vibe of a rock music festival in 2027.

The legendary rock band Foo Fighters has a global fan base, and Indian rock enthusiasts are among the top of them. Making them happy, the band has decided to embark on their debut India performance in 2027. The official announcements have already been made, and the band is all set to perform through a two-city tour in January 2027.

Rock music enthusiasts in India are highly excited right now, as this is going to be a highly influential rock act after a long time that fans have been craving. Foo Fighters is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band that has won Grammy Awards 15 times, and this is a significant moment for everyone. The two-day city performance is all set to take place in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The Bengaluru performance will take place at Bengaluru LIVE on January 29, 2027, and then, the band will head to Mumbai to perform at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 31, 2027. Considering the large number of Indian fans, both locations were chosen to fit a large-scale audience. Multiple supporting acts will also take place to offer fans a music festival vibe with a mood of celebration.

On the day of Bengaluru, audiences will find supporting acts from Alain Johannes, Pinkshift, Die Spitz, and lastly, The Pretty Reckless, which makes it a grand event. Similarly, in Mumbai, there will be performances from Still In Therapy, Mali, along with Die Spitz, and The Pretty Reckless for the second day. The idea is to provide a full day of celebration that perfectly portrays the rock culture in not just youth but people of all ages.

The frontman for Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl, shared his excitement and said, “After 31 years as a band, we can’t wait to FINALLY play for our fans in India!! It’s taken a few years but we promise it’ll be worth the wait. We hope Bengaluru and Mumbai are ready for a couple of very long, very loud nights.”
