As of now, her agency, OA Entertainment, has made an announcement on 21^st July regarding her upcoming music release. They stated, ‘Jennie will release her new single ‘Less than a Lover’ through domestic and international music platforms at 1 p.m. on the 24^th’. This announcement has made all of her fans more excited than ever.

Jennie has performed the song previously at a few music festivals overseas. Recently, the artist performed at Denmark’s ‘Roskilde Festival’, the U.S.’s ‘The Governors Ball Music Festival 2026’, Poland’s ‘Open’er Festival’, and Spain’s ‘2026 Mad Cool Festival’. She has performed at many music festivals recently and drawn much attention from all. However, at these few festivals, she performed this upcoming music creation.

This new soundtrack, ‘Less than a Lover’, showcases her sensibility, which has made the song even catchier. Jennie also participated in music production and songwriting.
