Kelly Clarkson Becomes the Demon Hunter with Sensational ‘Golden’ Cover in Final Episode

The Kelly Clarkson Show has finally come to an end; the singer made sure the climax was perfect and based on her fans’ choice. The host offered a sensational performance of the song ‘Golden’ from the animated movie ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ that won an Oscar and became a global hit. Apparently, it was the “most requested Kellyoke EVER!” and the singer delivered a beautiful rendition as requested.

The powerhouse singer is best known for her vocal skills, and Kelly has proved it again with a spectacular performance that puts her in her prime again. From the high notes to the melodic portions, Kelly did a great job, and the performance is currently viral on social media as fans are showing their love through the comments and sharing it.

This is not the first time for Kelly Clarkson to cover a ‘Kpop Demon Hunters’ song, as previously she has collaborated with My Band Y’all to offer an emotional rendition of the song “What It Sounds Like”.

The final episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show has been much anticipated among the fans as it is coming to an end after seven seasons, and the host will soon join the music industry with an upcoming album project. On the final episode, Kelly introduced a segment called “Kelly by Request,” which is a special set that offers fan-requested songs from her catalog.

The executive producer for the show, Alex Duda, said, “The Kellyoke that we played, ‘Golden,’ was the most requested Kellyoke we ever had, so Kelly knew she wanted to put it in the last episode,” and further added, “That’s why we built the whole episode around ‘By Request.’ We knew that’s going to be positive; we won’t be sad. We’ll be happy because it’ll be a Kelly Clarkson concert, basically.”

The end of the show was announced earlier in February of this year while the seventh season was ongoing. Kelly took a moment to address this and also showed her gratitude for this show and the crew that has become her family for the past few years.  She said that she is “forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for.” She is now trying “to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”

The final episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show offered the perfect ending and also the perfect initiation to the new musical era of the artist. Her last project was ‘Chemistry’, the 10th studio album that was released in 2023.
