Lady Gaga Welcomed Her First Child with Fiancé Michael Polansky

The Oscar- and Grammy-winning artist, Lady Gaga, welcomed her first child with her fiancé, Michael Polansky. Her fans have long called her Mother Monster; now she has truly become a mother. This news has generated a sensation on the internet. Gaga has always spoken about how she desires to become a mother.  In an interview in 2019, she said that she hopes ‘babies’ were part of her future. The artist stated, ‘I want to do more movies, I want to have babies’. And now, as she has become a mother, it can be said that she is truly the happiest.

On Friday evening, the couple welcomed their child. However, none of them have disclosed the gender or name of the baby. All her fans became immensely excited after finding out the news. Now, they are all waiting eagerly for the couple to announce the name of their first child.

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky got engaged in April 2024. Before the engagement, they dated each other for 5 years. They spent a long time before making such a big decision. Right after their engagement, Gaga shared her experience of meeting her mom with her partner for the first time. She stated,‘My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have imagined that my mom…found the most perfect person for me?’

Their relationship became even stronger during the COVID-19 lockdown. During that time, both Polansky and Gaga were quarantined together at Gaga’s Malibu home for more than a year. As a result, they spent a lot of time together and built a stronger bond. While talking about their relationship, Polansky said, ‘We had this amazing chapter of a weird kind of normalcy, that’s essential for any relationship to develop in a real way—taking walks, making coffee, hanging out with the dogs, reading books together…..’

They were engaged for a little more than two years, but they have kept a low profile throughout the time. Lady Gaga was quite busy with her latest projects. She was promoting her concert film ‘Apple Music Live: Mayhem Requiem. The Art of Personal Chaos’. In addition to that, she was also doing a tour to support her sixth studio album ‘Mayhem’. Gaga has been doing the tour from April 2025 to April 2026. Thus, the year has been quite busy for her.

In 2013, at the age of 27, Gaga said that she wanted ‘to have tons of kids, actually…I think at least three. I want to live a family life. I grew up with a very strong family, and I just cannot imagine not having a normal nuclear family’. After thirteen years, her wish has really come true.
