2000 Security Personnel Are Deployed at Diljit Dosanjh’s Delhi Concert

Diljit Dosanjh is going to perform in Delhi on 30^th October, and it will have a major security upgrade. The event will take place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, and over 2000 private guards are expected to be deployed there. The organizers of the event have asked for more security personnel, coordination with cab aggregators, and arrange for extra parking to avoid any traffic issues and manage rush around the event venue.

The arrangements of the event will follow Delhi Police’s initial decision regarding the program permission and pay more attention to security concerns. As of now, it is coming to know that the organizers have to follow the festive-season law and order commitments. The organizers and Delhi Police have gone through many discussions and only after that, they have gotten the permission to do the show. Now, the Delhi show of Aura India Tour will take place according to the plan.

Previously, a lot of security deployment was planned. but, the Delhi Police have recommended that there should be 1500 to 2000 private guard at the venue. The organizers proposed 400 securities, but ultimately they have to follow the advice of Delhi Police. this stadium can accommodate around 55000 people at the same time. thus, managing so many people will be much difficult if the right number of security personnel isn’t provided. as so many security personnel are positioned, they will be able to help oversee queues, assist them at help kiosk, guide audiences to the correct entry gates, and keep the pedestrian movement around the venue.

Along with this, the organizers have also been asked to look for additional parking nearby and work with cab aggregators for better traffic management. This way, it will be much easier to manage pick-ups and drop-offs. The concert was in much uncertainty as the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South District) stated that BookMyShow ‘cannot be acceded to’ the 30^th October show. The police also cited ‘specific threat-related inputs, coupled with the multifarious security and law and order commitments arising out of the ongoing festive season’.

regarding so many security concerns, many also thought the show will be cancelled. thus, after that, the organizers stated through BookMyShow Live and clarified that ‘It is clarified that reports suggesting that the Diljit Dosanjh AURA India Tour concert in New Delhi on 30 October is being cancelled are inaccurate. Permission for the event had been temporarily withheld, not cancelled, and the two should not be confused’.

After all this confusion, the organizers and Delhi Police met and revised the whole security plan through a ‘cordial and constructive meeting’. Now, it is expected that the show will not face any security issues and audiences can enjoy their time witnessing their favorite artist perform live.
