American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has released the music video for her single, ‘Billie Bossa Nova’ on January 13th worldwide. The song is the third track from her second studio album, ‘Happier Than Ever’, which was released on July 30th, 2021. The singer shared an acoustic performance video of the track teaming up with her brother Finneas back in December last year. The short video clip was a part of a Gucci promotional campaign and was directed by Phillip Andelman. She has finally released her own version of the song in the recent full-length music video.

The music video already received more than 1 million views on YouTube, released only a few days ago. Her silky voice fused with her incredible presentation make the music extremely ethereal, taking it to another level. The song had been a standout on the album ever since it was released last year. She has tried to do something new with the song. She has avoided replicating what she did in her previous works and brought in a completely new approach to music-making. The acoustic guitar of her brother Finneas has added a brilliant element to the track, making it one of her finest.

The song features her trademark whispering which has become more powerful and robust with her emotional strength. Her voice has an amazing sense of intimacy that connects with the listeners on a higher level, making them feel her emotions accurately. The music video is part of her live performance series and it is the final performance of the series. It is shot in the Crystal Ballroom of the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles and directed by Kyle Goldberg. The fans are highly excited to see the performance and have been flooding the comment section with how much they like her singing and the aesthetics of the video.

The other songs in the live performance series are ‘Your Power’, ‘Male Fantasy’, and ‘Lost Cause’. The taunting knowingness in her singing is what makes her music different from others. But her whispers are stronger and more expressive than before. The track, ‘Billie Bossa Nova’ is much more mature and relatable to the audience. The retro yet trip-hop rhythmic cadence intermingled with her soothing singing makes the live performance shine brighter.

In 2019, at the age of only 17, Billie Eilish astonished the world with her mind-blowing debut album, ‘When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ it was a blockbuster and made her a pop sensation overnight. Now at 19, she has a total of seven Grammy Awards under her belt. Her sophomore album, ‘Happier Than Ever’ is an absolute masterpiece with the artist herself breaking all her own boundaries. The album is available online.
