British Indie Pop Band Lapels Is Setting a Benchmark With Their Latest EP ‘Live At Black Barn’

This 3 piece band has churned out ‘90s melodic taste through their debut musical collection that was released this year. This debut EP is embracing its first three single compositions once again.

The latest project includes ‘Back To Beginnings’, ‘The Time Is Ours’, and ‘Early Morning Rain’. Each of these singles offers an infectiously engaging musical essence with an amalgamation of BritPop, indie, and alternative fusion music.

Needless to say, the melodic downtempo along with smooth and rich vocals skills reflect the unwavering aura of this trio formation. Whether it is a live performance or studio recording; the band has never failed to prove its worth in the music industry.

This debut EP has been recorded at Black Barn Studios owned by Paul Weller. The title ‘Live At Black Barn’ offers the lively essence of the studio as well. The project is produced by Michael Smith.

The band has featured as headliners at the MICANNES music conference which took place in June. This is the first-ever international showcase for the Brit music artists.

Hailing from East Midlands, Lapels is formed by three amazing music artists namely Nathan, Adam and Andy. Each of the members of the band is quite versatile with their talents of singing, songwriting and prolific musicianship.

Listeners have found their honest and candid approach quite relatable. The band is capable of turning daily mundane stuff into a musical delight with their sheer skills and individuality. What started from the college in Nottingham is now taking place over an international stage.
