Jesus Ayala Jr. continues to roll with his ‘Self-Titled Debut’ in a post-punk mood

The upcoming Jesus Ayala Jr is trying to revive the bygone era with his avant-garde elements of influential British rock in his new ‘Self-Titled Debut’ EP.

‘Self-Titled Debut’

Chicago-based indie rock artist Jesus Ayala Jr launches revolution with his nostalgic post-punk music in the latest ‘Self-Titled Debut’ EP with four outstanding, head-banging songs. He wants to bring back the glorious days of Garage Rock with the eclectic mix of non-rock sounds inspired by the punk energy. Singing about love in all the rainbow colors or confronting his darkest side, the EP becomes the truest shadow of his human nature made with the bubbles of raucous rock melodies. Its songs define today’s youth, the spirit of friendship, and the chemical changes of love in the most profound way.

Jesus Ayala Jr first came solo with his EP Acoustic Reflections in 2019 that gave him the push to write and make music further about all the beautiful moments and tough lessons in life. He refused to wait and rust his ability away for a better time or a better band. He dropped the new Self-Titled Debut’ EP with medleys of songs that recreate the magic of British rock culture. ‘Michael’ is the first track that embraces the idea of loving someone crossing the lines of several boundaries, assumed to be dedicated to an unfathomable relationship. ‘Chance’ has achieved critical appreciation from the big bananas in the industry for the striking such warm and powerful guitar strings with a message for the youth.
