Lady Gaga responds to a viral clip of Australians dancing to her 2020 pop hit, after an ease in pandemic restrictions

Amidst the terror of the coronavirus, Lady Gaga has reacted to a video of unmasked revelers who were spotted in a bar in Melbourne, Australia, dancing to her 2020 pop hit Replay.

At the moment, there has been no new locally acquired case of the coronavirus being registered in the city for the past twenty days. The video has been posted by Twitter user @bloomthisway that showed the people dancing, in a Melbourne venue, with a caption being highlighted that Australia managed to go Covid free so now the gays finally get to the club to Chromatica.

Stefani Germanotta aka Gaga who was enthralled to see the tweet responded by saying, Goodbye Covid hello dancing. She also expressed her happiness for Australia and prayed that the rest of the world gets to dance together soon.

However, the tweet to which Gaga responded was incorrect as Australia is not Covid free according to the latest reports. Also, there are different states, and territories that are being subjected to different lockdown rules presently to tame the situation.

However, the current COVID-19 guidelines for Victoria, the state in which Melbourne is located, have permitted the nightclubs to re-open. The rules on social distancing and mask-wearing vary in different types of venues, depending on their respective size.

The gradual lifting of the lockdown restrictions I Victoria comes as other countries including the UK remains devastated by the ongoing extensive spread of the pandemic disease.
