Christmas is near and major musicians are releasing their holiday songs for the audience to enjoy. Popular American singer-songwriter Michael Bublé has also joined the party releasing his brand-new Christmas song this November. He is celebrating this year’s Christmas with his latest single, ‘Christmas Sweater’ on November 19th. Being a huge fan of Christmas, the singer promises to brighten up the holiday season for his fans.
The single comes accompanied by a brilliant music video that was released on YouTube. The visuals present the perspective of a Christmas sweater. In the music video, the sweater is trying to convince a woman to wear it. It gets excited as Christmas day nears in hope that its owner will wear it. It is disappointed when it sees the woman choosing other clothing items before the actual day. But its dream comes true when the woman finally wears it to a party. Things become more interesting when it finds its match, another Christmas sweater like it worn by a man at the party. The woman ends up going home with the man and the two sweaters also end up connecting together.
The sweet and meaningful story that the song depicts has touched the hearts of his fans across the world. While talking to CNN, the singer revealed, ‘Hanging out with my family and all our relatives and friends, for me, there’s nothing better than that,’ He also added, ‘To me, the holidays are about bringing people together and being with family. It’s no secret it’s my favorite time of year. The holidays are a time to step back and cherish your loved ones.’
He further said that he used to sing and dance to Christmas songs like, ‘Feliz Navidad’, ‘Santa Clause is Comin’ to Town’, and more with his family during Christmas. He said that this year is special for him as it is the 10-year anniversary of his album, ‘Christmas’. He explained that he is always trying to bring something new every year during the holiday season. He will be bringing a lot of new songs this year.
This year he has recorded some new songs and their music videos. Heb is not just making music this Christmas, he is making a Christmas television special and a holiday drink named Merry Berry Bublé as well.
Bublé has decided to make a new studio album and a Las Vegas residency. He said that he will be releasing a new studio album in early 2022. And he just can’t wait for everyone to hear it. He said though he says these with his every work, this one is his best work yet.
