Music artist Maya Wagner presents a rolling course of musical individuality with her new song, ‘Closeted’, a personal account of her understanding of herself.
Upcoming music artist Maya Wagner is presenting the journey of her own life through the verses of her soundscape. She recently came out with the single, ‘Closeted’ that depicts her own struggles of living in the closet for days on end before coming out. The struggles, trials, and turbulences that come with being different are captured in the song through an eccentric and contemporary production arrangement. The song will also feature in her upcoming EP by the same name which is set to release on June 25. The artist’s vocal and creative capacity allows her to express her inner turmoil through the song almost accurately.
20-year-old Maya Wagner is also a producer and a songwriter who is always highlighting her identity with the LGBTQ+ community and mental health struggles through her music. Thus, her creative aspirations are an outlet of her inner mind. The song, ‘Closeted’ is an extension of her own soul that motivates and inspires others. She is currently studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Originally from Central New Jersey, she is also the recipient of the Kennedy Center International Young Soloist’s Award in 2019.
