Q : ‘Hatin Ass Nixxas’ – well, it’s an amazing song. Tell us something about this music.
A : Hatin Ass Nixxas was something I’ve been thinking about addressing for a while now. You know a lot of people would troll or gon on social media with that subject but I just made a song about it for everyone to enjoy. Let’s be honest, everyone who’s trying to do something great has haters. Maybe this can be your theme song.
Q : Who or what have been your inspiration?
A : I’m really inspired by the opportunity to help my family all while creating good music. I don’t want my peoples to have to worry or struggle so my ultimate goal is to help my family and that’s what I think motivates me to keep going.
Q : So far how was your journey in the world of music?
A : It’s been a crazy one when I think about it. I really didn’t find a signature sound to really go off of until about last year. I’ve been doing music for about four or five years now but last year is when I found myself to be in tune with the music I create and it’s really starting to show. Can’t wait for the stuff I have now to be released. Very excited.
Q : The latest video on ‘Hatin Ass Nixxas’ has received a good craze. Well, what’s the main part of this song where you have focused on?
A : The main part I tried to focus on in this song was just the message. Like, I know I have haters who watch and stare in silence but this was basically an acknowledgement to them and a gift to the world to enjoy.
Q : What are the music genres you have worked so far?
A : I’ve worked rap, r&b, and to an extent some rock. I’ve had times I’m the studio where we are doing some absolute bullsh*t but I look at it as being creative and trying to find a new sound you might’ve not thought of doing. You never know with this music stuff.
Q : Do you love attending live performances?
A : Nah I do like to perform though so, yes and no I guess. People don’t never perform to the extent I think they will when live so I don’t bother worrying about that stuff.
Q : What are the things that you have learnt so far while surviving in the music industry?
A : One important thing I’ve learned is to continue to evolve no matter the circumstance and no matter the people. As long as you keep evolving as a person and as an artist there’s really no stopping because you control certain important factors that will be determined by YOU!
Q : ‘Hatin Ass Nixxas’ is being excellently filmed. Well, how was the experience?
A : It was cool. I’ve never really been photogenic so my guy jimmy has been trying to get me out of that shell so this video definitely helped with that. I didn’t even want to film this at first but after this I’m convinced I can do this a few more times lol.
Q : Vocalization or instrumentation – which is the most important part of a song?
A : To me I think it’s both. The voice has to flow on the beat and the two have to be on point. That’s why it’s such an exciting process creating music.
Q : If any listener wants to hear your music, which one will you suggest?
A : It depends on what you want. If you want that wavy sound definitely Sacrifices. If you wanna get turnt up I think For the Record definitely a do the job.
Q : Anything you want to share with your fans?
A : Just to my true fans thank you for the support. Seeing people react to my music in a positive way definitely gives me motivation to keep going so thank you VaderNation.
Q : Is there any upcoming project you are currently working on?
A : Yeah I’m actually workin on my next project called 8701, that’s my address where I grew up at so I’m real excited. I think this sound will take me to another level so yeah be on the lookout.
