Bringing his unique Latino and Haitian music range to the forefront, rapper Chikiflow is moving relentlessly to own the hip-hop platform with his charismatic style and melodic way of rap. The Rapper from the Dominican Republic has performed brilliantly in his latest music video ‘El Puto’ built under the label Chikiflow Music and given the audience plenty of reasons to look forward to his upcoming projects.
Our team had the gracious opportunity to share a small chat with this upcoming hip-hop star and he agreed to decode his musical influences and some exciting updates with us. Read below to find out more.
1. What got you into music and especially hip-hop?
Answer: From a very young age I was always passionate about music. I liked all the songs you heard on the radio and I interpreted it well, it was very easy for me to learn it.
2. Since when did you realize that music is what it means to you?
Answer: Really, music has always been with me but when I really realized that music was my life was when I moved to the USA at the time I could only find myself I could discover my talent.
3. What is the story behind your music?
Answer: my story is that of a humble young dreamer with a huge heart, strong and resistant like a horse.
4. Your latest music video is creating quite a stir, what would you like to say about it?
Answer: Thanks first to God than to my work team and all the peek as that is supporting me.
5. What inspires you to create wonderful and wonderful pieces of music?
Answer: What I live, what I see, and what I feel.
6. Who has been your motivation from the beginning?
Answer: my mother, my family, the wish that my mother and everyone who knows me will one day feel proud of having known me or of being my friend or family.
7. On dark days, how do you recover?
Answer: meditating my mind, listening to soft romantic music, walking in the woods or parks, and playing basketball.
8. How do your experiences influence your musical creation?
Answer: my lyrics are divided into 50% of my reality what I live and 50% of what I see or hear.
9. Is there a new generation artist whose music inspires you?
Answer: yes with cardi b
10. Any particular artist/band that you would like to collaborate with in the future?
Answer: if I would like to do the remix of the fucking with cardi b, she prevented me from writing the fucking.
11. What has been your most favorite moment so far in your music career?
Answer: the day I release my first #elputo music video for me is a very special day
12. Would you like to share a special message for your fans and loved ones?
Answer: young people listen by working hard you can achieve it, do not allow anyone to tell you otherwise because, just like you, no one should be, be yourself without fear, never live to please anyone, listen to your heart and pursue your dreams putting it all in the hand of God.
