Daily Music Roll: Your latest album is going to release soon. How are you feeling?

Lil Squid: you already know; I’m very excited.

DMR: Tell us something about the subject matter of the album ‘Untouchable’.

Lil Squid: Untouchable originated out of the love of the fans and the way they made me feel.

DMR: What are your views on the modern music industry?

Lil Squid: The industry should stop being a mystery to an upcoming artist. The artist makes them, not the other way.

DMR: Who inspired you the most to pursue music?

Lil Squid: Tupac Shakir and Michael Jackson.

DMR: You have an eclectic rapping style. Do you follow any rappers as musical inspiration?

Lil Squid: I don’t follow any particular person however, I listen to them all.

DMR: As a well-seasoned rapper, what obstacles have you come across in your musical journey?

Lil Squid: In the past, I’ve been my own obstacle but, I mature after the challenge.

DMR: Would you like to give any tips to the rising rappers in the industry?

Lil Squid: Yeah! believe in yourself; audit yourself and shun critics.

DMR: Are you willing to collaborate with other rappers in the future?

Lil Squid: Futuristically speaking! Lil Baby and 21 Savage.

DMR: Is music your full-time profession?

Lil Squid: No, it isn’t; I have a job.

DMR: Would you like to work on other genres or hip hop is your playground?

Lil Squid: Maybe dabbled a little in rock mingled in rap.

DMR: As a music artist, do you think hip hop or music can bring change to societal issues?

Lil Squid: I believe it can sometimes. Hip-Hop is a Musical Culture.
