DMR: Tell us more about your latest track ‘Long Time Gone’?

Dark Capricorn Rising: Tells of someone who has been through the “slings and arrows” of life but is not resigned.  And he vows to go on.

DMR: You have proved your potential in heavy rock. But are there any other music genres that you would to try?

Dark Capricorn Rising: No – We’re Hard Core!

DMR: What are your plans for the rest of the months of this year? Are you planning to drop any other new tracks in the upcoming months before Christmas?

Dark Capricorn Rising: Yes, we have in the “Vault” 2 righteous bangers which are vintage “Dark Capricorn Rising!”

(1) “The Bleeding Inside” asks how long will humankind remain blind to its self-destructive nature.

and

(2) “8 Days in the Middle” where the man is trying to recover from his girlfriend leaving him.

DMR:  Dark Capricorn Rising is a strikingly unique name. What made you choose this interesting name?

Dark Capricorn Rising: I, like almost everyone, have experienced psychological “Darkness”, i.e., depression mania, bi-polar conditions from the usual array of life’s brutal surprises. I was down for years but in 2018 my mood began to lift because of my involvement with “DCR” and it has continued to rise. Music is my salvation and Dark Capricorn Rising is the instrument of that “Resurrection.”

DMR: Do you have any advice for emerging artists who are following heavy rock?

Dark Capricorn Rising: “Be true to yourselves as people and as artists. Never give up on your dream. And when creating heavy rock, don’t just “bang away on your instruments and scream!” Compose “Art”, create “Music” not “Noise!” In your production, be extremely detail oriented. Every note (and rest) is crucial.

It’s ALL important! And make sure the listener can hear, clearly, every word of every song.

If the people can’t understand what you’re saying, why have lyrics at all? Lyrics are absolutely essential in the creation of a son

DMR: Your music resonates with the charming vibes of Black Sabbath and many people have already stated the same. If you had the option to collaborate with this iconic band what will be your reaction?

Dark Capricorn Rising: We would be honored and blown away! Sabbath is the “trail blazer” for deep, heavy rock (good question, btw).

DMR: Do have anything to say about dedicating your listeners and admirers from around the world? And where can they find your music?

Dark Capricorn Rising: We would just like to thank everyone who has believed in us, from the very beginning. Their loyalty will not be forgotten, nor will it go unrewarded. Dark Capricorn Rising has the best fans in the world! “That’s right! We said it!”
