Surfinonthelake : I was working a security job that was pretty laid back. I playing the chords and messing with the melody, the words came after the melody. I guess the song is about how much of a gamble life can be sometimes.

Daily Music Roll : Does your creativity extend beyond music?

Surfinonthelake : Yeah for sure, you can be creative in anything from your daily routine to the way you talk and the places you go. Whatever it is, do it your way.

Daily Music Roll : What has been your fondest memory so far?

Surfinonthelake : Music wise would be playing a show for a full auditorium at an alumni event at my alma mater.
