Relentless Hope

DMR 1. First things first, we congratulate you on the huge success of the song. Even though the number is focusing on an upsetting reality but your gravitating musical ways have been extremely compelling to the audience. Both of you are already famous with the name Relentless Hope, but what should your fans call you apart from that?

Relentless Hope. We wear many hats we could be Mom Dad brother sister business owner.
Or just
David & Jahnna

DMR 2. The song focuses on a very grave topic and the havoc that local people have experienced was indescribable. And you have managed to narrate some much-elaborated verses to describe the matter. Please share some firsthand experiences which haven’t been described in the track.

Relentless Hope. Yes hurricane Ian has a rocked whole community our City and surrounding areas.
Ask for us personally we were on the road doing music so we wasn’t here for the actual storm but returned to our house being totally gone we pretty much lost everything most of our belongings car.
So it has been very emotionally taxing and an emotional roller coaster.

DMR 3. Your songs always have some inner messages and quirky instinctive narrations; tell your fans about your musical inspirations, what has triggered you to embark upon this journey? Or, who has been your inspiration for music?

Relentless Hope. Both of our lives have been crazy and you’ve covered our videos quite a bit so you can kind of get our story through our music.
But really our inspiration is to a not take ourselves too serious.
But always be real and transparent and sharing our story.
Us being married and the background we come from such as drugs and everything that you could search to find happiness.
Our inspiration is just being a mom and a dad and trying to rebuild things that we lost our whole life. And just trying to share a little hope through our music.

DMR 4. Share the reason why you have chosen to name the song ‘Florida Strong’?

Relentless Hope. Because that’s exactly what we are we have been hit but we will bounce back and be Florida strong and hold tight and unite.

DMR 5. If not music which career would you both have preferred to pursue as a team?

Relentless Hope. Actually not only we are we a Duo as a husband and wife and mother and father and a Duo as a rap group.
We also own two businesses that we work on together when we’re not doing music.
We on A1 Billiards and Mr slate’s pool tables.
So we’re already in the mix of all those things.

DMR 6. Share some fun incidents that you might have experienced while filming the video.

Relentless Hope. Filming the video in our home that was pretty much the last time we were going to be in it due to it being unlivable.
We actually had a good time cuz some of our closest friends came and we got to do the track together so it’s always a riot when all of us get together so there was a quite a few jokes made even though it was a serious thing the whole reason we did the video in our home and did the song was to give our people hope in Florida.

DMR 7. If you are asked to describe your art in one word, which word would you choose to describe it?

Relentless Hope. THE WORD WE WOULD DESCRIBE IT WITH H O P E.

DMR 8. Suppose you are given the opportunity to collaborate with any music artist from whatever timeline, who would you choose to collaborate with?

Relentless Hope. Man there’s so many.
I would say who would I like to do a country song with a country rap song would have to be Keith Whitley who passed away before his time if I could collaborate with any rapper would probably be LL Cool j.
Jahnna Says Lisa Left eye lopez And Frank Sinatra

DMR 9. You have been releasing one after witty and relatable tracks; are there any new projects you guys are working on right now?

Relentless Hope. Oh yeah we’ve got about five videos and singles that will be coming out pretty quick as soon as we get our life back to normal and get settled in a new home. But definitely going to be a lot more videos and singles coming out in the next few months.

DMR 10. How long have you been making music and what are things you have experienced in this journey?

Relentless Hope. I have been doing music since I have been 15 years old Dough boy.
Jahnna just about 3 years.
But we did get to experience going on tour this summer got to see a lot of people’s lives get changed and get a hold of some hope.

DMR 11. After spending this considerable amount of time in this career, do you have anything to say to any emerging artists that they should follow while making music?

Relentless Hope. Always stay true to yourself and stay consistent.

DMR 12. Do have anything to dedicating your fans and where they can find you and your tracks?
