BTS’s V Becomes the Face for Classic Sportswear Brand Campaign ‘True Champion’

The album ranked at no.1 on the Billboard Hot charts and also set a record for the highest sales week, which is a great achievement for the band that came after a decade.

After kickstarting the year with a grand success, band members are also reaching new heights with crucial brand endorsement. V from the boy band has become the new face for American sportswear brand Champion, and he also appeared in the shoot for the new campaign ‘True Champion’. V is undoubtedly the most favorite member among the BTS ARMY for his looks and style, and this latest campaign embraces his individuality.

V announced a global partnership with the classic American Sportswear brand and became the ‘True Champion’ among the global fans. The company also appreciated V’s presence and brand endorsement initiatives. They said that the latest campaign is designed to highlight personalities shaping the contemporary pop culture while embracing “originality, perspective and enduring impact.” Evidently, V fits in the description like a glove by being the most influential and K-pop artist who influenced youth around the world.

V also expressed how Champion feels like “a natural fit” to him, and he personally believes this latest campaign resonates with his personality. The singer said, “To me, being a ‘True Champion’ isn’t about trying to become someone special,” and he further added, “Just don’t try too hard to be someone else. I think the more you stay true to yourself, the more confident you’ll become.”

BTS’s V is renowned as a fashion mogul as well, with his impeccable sense of fashion and striking appearances that make a statement in the industry. He said, “I’ve always enjoyed mixing different styles instead of sticking to just one. High fashion is exciting, but I also appreciate clothes that feel effortless to wear.”

The singer added, “When I’m at home, I’m usually dressed even more casually than people would think. I spend a lot of time in simple T-shirts and comfortable clothes because I like feeling relaxed.” With collaboration with Champion, he said, “That’s probably why Champion has always felt familiar to me; it fits naturally into the way I actually dress when I’m off camera.”
