Beabadoobee is taking her ‘The Powerlines Tour’ to Australia next year in March, and it will stop first at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 15th March.
The tour will stop at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 15. Then it will come to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on March 18 and Sydney’s Afterpay Arena on March 20. These will be Beabadoobee’s biggest venues yet in Australia. It is set to give fans a chance to experience her music on a much larger scale. The Australian dates will support her forthcoming fourth studio album, Pylon, which is set for release on Sept. 18 through Dirty Hit / Interscope. The record follows the success of 2024’s Is How Tomorrow Moves, which reached No. 1 in the U.K., as well as 2022’s Beatopia and 2020’s Fake It Flowers, which peaked at No. 4 and No. 8 respectively.
Pylon introduces a different side of Beabadoobee, with the new era described as “louder, angstier and grittier” than anything she has done before. The 14-track album already includes the previously released songs ‘Sun Has Set’, ‘Switchblade’, and ‘Memories’, tracks she has taken to the stage during appearances at Lollapalooza, Hinterland, and the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The album also boasts an impressive list of collaborators. Hayley Williams features on ‘Nothing To Prove’, while Brendan Yates of Turnstile contributes a verse to ‘Powerlines’. Evan Stephens Hall of Pinegrove, Chino Moreno of Deftones, and Shane Moran of Title Fight also appear across the record. On the other hand, Dirty Hit labelmatesMatty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975 have contributed to its production.
The title Pylon carries a personal meaning for Beabadoobee, whose real name is Beatrice Laus. Named after the steel electricity towers that carry overhead high-voltage power lines, the image reflects the artist’s own experiences with distance and isolation. As the press release explains, “[pylons] remind Laus of her connection to friends and family at home while she was staring down extreme disconnection and isolation on tour over the past few years.”
Following the Australian dates, Beabadoobee will continue touring through the United Kingdom before heading across the Atlantic for a full month of shows in October. This will be followed by further U.K. and European dates. Tickets for the Australian shows go on sale Thursday, September 10, at local time at handsometours.com.
