Jasmine Sandlas Received Much Criticism After Lip-Syncing To ‘Shararat’ In A Performance In Ahmedabad

Indian playback singer, Jasmine Sandlas, has gained massive popularity after her songs in Aditya Dhar’s movie, ‘Dhurandhar’. Recently, the singer went to perform in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. However, right after the performance, the artist faced huge criticism and backlash on the internet. She did a performance on the soundtrack ‘Shararat’ from the movie, and everyone accused her of lip-syncing during the performance. During the act, she poured water on herself in the middle of the performance.

Jasmine went to perform in Ahmedabad on 19^th April. The artist was seen wearing a lehenga choli. It was quite surprising that while performing, she poured a bottle of water on herself. Along with that, a lot of times she was seen lowering her microphone several times. While she was lowering the microphone, the songs continued to play in the background. This has caused a huge amount of criticism on the internet.

From the rage on the internet, it is understood that people didn’t agree with the fact on her lip-syncing while doing a live performance. Everyone has gone there to see her sing on the stage and not just lip-sync to her songs. Jasmine gave quite an enthusiastic performance. She was seen doing the hook steps of the soundtrack as well. But when everyone got to understand that she wasn’t actually singing, it generated a huge buzz.

Right after the performance ended, people started sharing their opinions. One of the internet users stated ‘What is this nonsense?’. One also commented, ‘Live concert me bhi live nahigaate ye log (These people don’t sing live in live performance as well)’. Another one stated, ‘Why lip sync??????’. One also added ‘What is this? Where is the real performance? The song is being played behind, and is lip-syncing now called a performance? Fake performance’. Another user added, ‘She is clearly lip syncing…what kind of performance is this?’. From this, it is clear that most of the people didn’t like what the artist did during the performance.

However, many are also there who defended Jasmine and praised her for the concert. One of the audience members from the event commented ‘That’s me vibing with my camera on the stage. tbh what a show it was, thank you @jasminesandlas for creating this kind of show’. Many of her fans appreciated her for the electrifying performance. Jasmine has been in the industry and working as a playback singer for a long time. She made her debut with Salman Khan’s movie ‘Kick’. She has been praised for her unique voice and brilliant performances. But, during this specific performance, she received much backlash from all. It has been quite common for artists to dance while singing in their live performances. But this time, it has created a massive sensation on the internet.
