Shaan Finally Breaks Silence about the Viral Meme where

Singer and legend of Bollywood songs, Shaan, has finally broken his silence about the viral meme where he was accused of cursing on social media. While the internet has made it easier for fans to reach out to their favorite stars, it has also enabled all kinds of users to abuse and troll them through comments and other online activities. It seems like Shaan has also become a victim of it.

People in the shadows try to troll celebrities and artists through their comment sections, and the use of abusive language is quite high. Singer Shaan has also faced the issue while doing a live session, and facing such internet trolls has also turned him into a viral meme, which is again done by the people in the shadows.

This incident took place a long time ago during the period of lockdown when Shaan was doing live sessions through social media and did not wear his spectacles. He casually read the comments on his live and did not expect fans to use curse words, and he read the comments with abusive words without thinking of any consequences, getting trolled again.

Somebody cut the clip of the live session and made a meme on Shaan where he is saying cursed words, and now, the internet is viral with this meme and feeding people ‘Brain Rot’ information. The problematic situation of social media and the medium of entertainment for the new generation is becoming quite chaotic for artists like Shaan, who has put up a lot of effort and hard work to reach the success they have achieved. And now, some users in the shadows are making him viral for that meme rather than the amazing songs he offered throughout his career.

During a recent interaction with Mashabale India, Shaan has expressed disappointment by saying that the new generation people have not listened to his songs but know him for the viral meme, which is not his identity.

Shaan said, “I was just reading comments, actually. Even today, I wear spectacles, but for style, I have taken them off and kept them aside. So, while reading the comments, I had no idea that people were abusing there. I was reading them leisurely and suddenly saw it said, ‘Abe…’”.

The singer further said, “Yes, beep beep beep. Someone must have screen-recorded it, and it became a meme. My whole identity got attached to that meme. These young Gen Z and millennials don’t even know the kind of songs I’ve sung — they only remember that ‘beep’ moment. When my children’s friends meet me, they say, ‘Oh, is he your dad?” The singer laughed at the whole incident and showed his humble side.
