Yo Yo Honey Singh Will Drop ‘One Thousand Miles’ Music Video After a Decade

Yo Yo Honey Singh has a surprise for his fans! The Indian rapper is coming with the official music video for ‘One Thousand Miles’, a decade-old track.

Yo Yo Honey Singh is finally releasing the official music video for his much-loved track ‘One Thousand Miles’, nearly a decade after the song first came out. The track was originally part of his 2014 album ‘Desi Kalakaar’. It has also remained a fan favorite despite never having a video. The rapper confirmed the long-awaited news on social media writing, “Completing the pending chapter of my life on public demand, shooting One Thousand Miles. Guess the lead actress? She is very special in my life.” The announcement created a wave of excitement, especially among long-time followers of the artist. The post also quickly gained attention as fans tried to guess who the leading lady could be.

Shortly after the announcement, the rapper confirmed the actress to be Mandy Takhar as the lead in the video. “Completing the pending chapter of my life. Most Awaited One Thousand miles starring mandy takhar, its not just a song its my life,” Yo Yo Honey Singh wrote in another post. The two have shared a close bond with Singh once calling Mandy his “favorite person on earth”. This collaboration comes after a 12-year gap between the singer-rapper and the British actress.

‘One Thousand Miles’ originally featured on Honey Singh’s album ‘Desi Kalakaar’, released in 2014. It was released under T-Series and Bhushan Kumar. The album included other hits like ‘Desi Kalakaar’, ‘Love Dose’, etc. However, this track in particular stood out and developed a cult following among his Indian followers and listeners. Despite its huge popularity, the song never had a music video, making this release even more special.

The news comes after the release of another romantic video by Yo Yo Honey Singh titled ‘Teri Yaadien’. The video was dropped in May and features Nargis Fakhri alongside Moroccan singer Grini. Lyrics for the track were written by both Grini and Honey Singh. The music was produced and mixed by the rapper as well.

‘Teri Yaadein’ is a bonus song from Singh’s 2024 album ‘Glory’. The album includes 18 tracks such as ‘Millionaire’, ‘Payal’, ‘Jatt Mekhma’, etc. It also marked Singh’s full return as a music producer after long years. Most of the lyrics on the album were written by Leo Grewal. A major highlight of ‘Glory’ is its use of ten languages – Hindi, Punjabi, English, Haryanvi, Bhojpuri, Spanish, French, Arabic, Sindhi, and Balochi. Yo Yo Honey Singh also made his debut as a music video director for his song ‘Jatt Mekhma’.
