The Global Citizen’s special called the One World: Together at Home has been curated by Lady Gaga. She is instrumental in bringing together legendary vocalists like John Legend, Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion for the exquisite number ‘The Prayer’. This is originally a duet song by Bocelli and Dion that released way back in 1999.

The very famous pianist, Lang Lang joined the elite bunch of musicians for an eclectic performance. The classical song is dished out by Dion as she started off the proceedings. Select parts of the song are sung by Legend and Gaga while most part of the tune is taken care of by the performers of the original track.

Gaga also performed on ‘Smile; which is her very own creation. The song which is made famous by Nat King Cole and Charlie Chaplin was performed by her with candles lit around her as she was busy with her white piano. She was very much honored to be a part of Global Citizen and WHO. $127 million has been raised from the performance that will go as a charity to fight the COVID-19 pandemic as part of WHO’s effort across the globe.

The late-night TV has hosted ‘The Special’ which featured music legends like Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Kacey Musgraves and Chris Martin among others. The hosts for the show are Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel.

The album Chromatica by Lady Gaga has been postponed who felt it be morally incorrect to release it in the midst of the pandemic.
