‘Michael’: The Biopic of Michael Jackson Will Take More Time to Release

Michael Jackson’s biopic ‘Michael’ is taking some time to release and has been postponed a little. The biopic was about to release this year but now it is coming to know that the movie will release in 2026. Jon Feltheimer has recently given the update about the film release. Jaafar Jackson, the nephew of Michael is going to make his debut with this movie. Thus, it will take a little time for his debut release too.

Jon Feltheimer has said ‘In regard to our Michael Jackson biopic, we’re excited about the 3½ hours of amazing footage from producer Graham King and director Antoine Fuqua, and we will be announcing a definitive release strategy & timing in the next few weeks’. He even said ‘I would note that it is likely we will move ‘Michael’ out of the fiscal year which will impact fiscal ’26 financial results but will bolster an already strong fiscal ’27 slate’.

From this statement, it comes that the fiscal calendar will end on the 31^st of March, 2026. So, it is evident that the movie will definitely be released after 1^st April 2026. In the beginning, the movie was set to be released on 3^rd October 2025. Thus, audiences will not be able to watch the movie this year. In addition to that, it came to know that the movie will be released in two parts. The first part is going to be released in 2026, but there is no update on when the second part will be released.
