Mind Chasm

Metal project Mind Chasm, which was formerly known as Chasm has recently come out with their single, ‘Cycles’. The song catches the eye in an instant for its creative and natural flow of tunes and rhythms. The song resonates with the know escapades of traditional metal. However, it does not fail to keep up with the contemporary glory by incorporating various elements of a progressive production edge. The use of intense vocal explorations makes the song emerge with its own identity. They also implement and emphasize their music with competing riffs that add to the overall texture and enamel of the song.

The duo’s new song ‘Cycles’ came out alongside their other single, ‘Self-Divide’. The band embraces the traditional approach with an open heart. One of their musical components that return time and again is the style of twin guitar attack. They imbibed this classic technique by following some of the biggest influencers in the metal scene such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Megadeth. However, they have their own individuality that allows them to own their personal and musical taste.

Metal duo Mind Chasm is based out of Chicago. The project is a collaboration between music artists Matt Schneider and Ed Nudd. The long-time friends formed the band in 2020 after having collaborated on many projects in the past 20+ years of their careers. Some of the projects that they worked on together before the band came into existence are Catamount, The Cruisers, Negligent Genocide, and The Glass Hour.
