Dua Lipa is soon to be releasing her next studio album ‘Radical Optimism‘. Now ahead of the album release, she has shared the snippet of her new single ‘Illusion’.
Dua Lipa is dropping her next single from the upcoming album. She recently shared a snippet of the next single ‘Illusion’ that got the fans excited!! The pop star shared the news via a post on X, formerly Twitter on Thursday, April 4th along with a photo of the project’s artwork. The artwork features the ‘Dance the Night Away‘ singer in a white bikini top and shawl, looking coruscating. The post also came with a teaser video where Dua was seen in the same outfit dancing along to a snippet of the upcoming single. From the snippet in the video, the fans noticed that it is going to be another Dua classic, a pulsing and high-beat, dancefloor-ready track. “I could do this dance all night,” Dua sings in the sneak peek. “Ooh, what you doing? Don’t know who you think that you’re confusing.” The singer captioned the post, “ILLUSION 11TH APRIL ~ YOU READY?,” along with three water-droplet emojis on social media platforms.
After it is dropped, ‘Illusion’ will become the third single from Dua’s upcoming third studio album, Radical Optimism. Previously she released two singles ‘Houdini‘, and ‘Training Season‘. While the former single debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, the latter one entered the chart at No. 27. The ‘Levitating’ singer announced the news of her upcoming album ‘Radical Optimism‘ in March, along with the album’s cover picture and tracklist details. ‘Illusion’, the upcoming single, is the seventh title on the record, residing between ‘French Exit’, and ‘Falling Forever’. One day before Dua shared the latest news, the singer posted a reel containing behind-the-scenes footage from her working on the album. The video also included pieces and bits of the upcoming music. “It’s the beauty of the chaos and trying to stay calm through it,” Dua said in a voiceover in the reel.

“Listening over and over and feeling like, ‘How do I want to tell this story?'” “I always go for the most upbeat ones to introduce people to the record,” she added. “I can just keep on dancing and keep people dancing. “We’re trying to create a world in a different way, and sonically it was about experimenting. Thematically, it was always about resilience,” she concluded.
