From Spotify’s Decoding Arirang to pop-ups worldwide, BTS turn their comeback into a fan-powered global moment that shows how anticipation can travel across the world.

Beginning March 13, the Spotify app will also host an interactive Decoding Arirang experience. Through the feature, fans known as ARMY can unlock video messages from Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. Each message offers a closer look at the creative process behind the album while building anticipation in the days leading up to the release. The campaign also moves into the physical world. Between March 27 and March 29, fans in Seoul can attend SWIMSIDE cruise experiences along the Han River. The events promise curated playlists, exclusive visuals, and interactive moments tied directly to the Arirang era.
Brands have quickly joined the comeback momentum. Companies like McDonald’s, Samsung, and LEGO are tapping into the excitement with limited edition merchandise that often sells out within minutes. The LEGO Ideas BTS Dynamite Set stands as a clear example of how physical collectibles can ride the wave of digital fan culture. Meanwhile, activity across Weverse continues to build as fans prepare for the album launch. Early merchandise drops on Weverse Shop include hoodies and caps inspired by the new era, while raffles offer a chance to attend the Arirang tour soundcheck in Goyang. Adding to the buildup, Google has introduced a digital scavenger hunt that unlocks hidden quests tied to the comeback.
By 2026, BTS’ influence stretches far beyond music. Members have become powerful figures in fashion, drawing massive engagement across global audiences. V has collaborated with Celine and Cartier, while Jung Kook has partnered with Chanel Beauty and Calvin Klein. The Arirang era also highlights Korean heritage through a special merchandise collaboration with the National Museum Foundation of Korea. Inspired by historical artifacts, the collection includes designs influenced by traditional binyeo hairpins and references to the Sacred Bell of King Seongdeok, blending cultural symbolism with modern pop style.
As immersive pop-ups appear across major cities, the Arirang rollout shows how a comeback can become something far larger than an album release. It evolves into a shared cultural moment, demonstrating how BTS continues to redefine the scale of global music launches.
