Taylor Swift and Matty Healy Get Fans Swooning as Their Romantic Photos Go Viral

Ever since the ‘Love Story’ singer rose to fame in 2004, her dating life had been massive fodder for tabloids, and not to mention, it has played a key role in the creation of her music. Having formerly dated stars like Taylor Lautner and Harry Styles, Swift’s last partner had been Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for over six years. However, it was in April, right in the midst of her Eras Tour that rumors emerged of an alleged split after Alwyn was seen not being present at any of her shows. While most fans believed that these speculations were true, many also dismissed them as mere rumors, as the two had been setting some really wholesome couple goals for a while.

However, it now seems confirmed that the Stars at Noon actor and Taylor Swift have actually decided to split as the singer was spotted on May 11 holding hands and getting cozy with Matty Healy as they had dinner with friend and collaborator Jack Antonoff. Healy and Swift have remained long-term friends ever since almost a decade ago Swift was seen sporting a ‘The 1975’ tank top, and later on, Healy was seen wearing a 1989 T-shirt at one of his concerts. Now that friendship seems to be budding into something more, as fans reportedly saw the two “cuddling and kissing” at Casa Cipriani in New York City. Matty Healy had been seen donning a suit for their date while Taylor wore a yellow and green dress, pairing it with her classic red lips.

While some fans were disappointed that Taylor and Alwyn have split up, others could not contain their excitement that the new couple came together as the two had been Tumblr muses for years now, and one of them even commented: “Being a fan of both Taylor and Matty this is like my biggest win”.

These photos appeared just weeks after Healy was spotted at Taylor’s show in Nashville on May 5 on the Eras Tour, where she mouthed the words: “This one is about you. You know who you are. I love you.” Fans speculate this sentiment was directed towards Healy because he had said these exact same words during his own show two days earlier.

As this new couple makes headlines, Joe Alwyn is rumored to be dating The Brutalist costar Emma Laird whom he was seen hanging out with in Hungary.
