The listeners are going crazy with the latest releases of ‘It Was A… (Masked Christmas)’, a Christmas special track by Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy has teamed up with Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion to craft this amazing number.
The track offers an ample dose of entertainment and fun with the trio performing together in this pre-festive season. It was premiered in the middle of the night and already garnered millions of views from fans and followers.
The central theme of the track is spreading awareness among people to enjoy this Christmas with a mask on as the pandemic situation is still ongoing and restrictions should be followed. The title of the track also suggests the same.
Some of the lyrical approaches like, “It was a masked Christmas, we stayed in the house/ We covered our nose, and covered our mouth/ But it’s Christmas time/ We’ll be in line for a booster”, also offer a similar indication.
Jimmy and Ariana joined forces showed their unwavering vocal skills while Megan spiced up the whole arrangement with her dicey rap grooves. It is a perfect fun number to enjoy with everyone while the underlying message spreads awareness.
This is not the first for Ariana to release a holiday track as she has already released two EPs regarding Christmas namely, ‘Christmas Kisses’ and ‘Christmas & Chill’ that has released in 2013 and 2015 respectively.
Other than that, Ariana has recently collaborated with Kelly Clarkson for the track ‘Santa, Can’t You Hear Me.’ Another track named, ‘Santa Tell Me’ has been buzzing in the top charts for many days.
On the other hand, Jimmy Fallon also released a cover of ‘Wonderful Christmastime’ by Paul McCartney in 2017. Another track named ‘Drunk on Christmas’ was released long ago featuring John Rich.
‘It Was A… (Masked Christmas)’ is the first-ever Christmas-based track by Megan Thee Stallion and she did a wonderful job. The rapper did not miss any chance to rhyme Fallon with Stallion.
